UPDATED WITH RESULTS

I have notice a couple of trends lately on showdown slates. Last Sunday evening, I entered a 137 single entry Double Up contest on DK that paid the top 60 places. Note that only 123 people entered the contest leaving almost zero vig for DK.

Of the 123 entries, 18 entries were identical and another 65 were identical. Accordingly, almost 67% of the field were colluding against the other 33% of the field.

Now this collusion does create some opportunity. You dont have to build a lineup that beats 77 other lineups, you only have to build a lineup that beats 1 other lineup. If you beat the colluding lineup, you are guaranteed to win. The professional DFS players are good, but they are not win 100% of the time good.

I will say, I believe the reason this contest did not fill, was because the casual players are tiered of playing against professionals colluding against them. The benefit to using DFS Dashboard, is we actually have better information than the professional players, so you can use our information to beat the profesionals.

I would recommend playing lineups in single entry tournaments on DK, this avoids the collusion and put you at even footing with professionals that submit max entries.

As you can see, there are plenty of good contests to play and if you have a good lineup, you can win a lot of money without having to pay a high entry fee.

Results from Showdown Lineups

8 of the 25 lineups cashed (32%), with one lineup finishing 50th out of 23,781 entries. This lineup was in first place for most of the game and the late field goals moved us back to 50th.
